Blue Ridge Community and Technical College S.G.A. is growing each semester.  You could be a part of history by joining S.G.A. and helping us build an even stronger foundation, whether you choose to be an officer, a senator, or simply an active member.

The purpose of Student Government:

SGA is a great opportunity for students interested in forming new clubs and organizations, making improvements to Blue Ridge Community and Technical College or getting involved in community service projects.  It is also a great network within the College and in the community.

Some great reasons to join SGA:
Not only is it just a great opportunity to be involved in the important decisions made at the College but SGA could also provide these opportunities:

Student Government meets once a week and is open to any student who is enrolled at Blue Ridge.  Officers meet one additional time each month and are elected each semester, with the exception of the president, who serves a year long term and is elected at the end of the spring semester.
