My interests lie in the areas of: home schooling; distance education; women in science & mathematics; and incorporating technology, science, and mathematics. My long-term goals include continuing my education to complete a doctoral degree.

I am currently teaching full-time at Blue Ridge Community & Technical College. From Spring 2007 through Summer 2008, I taught in a temporary, full-time, position at Concord University. Fall 2006, I worked as an adjunct instructor at the Christiansburg location of New River Community College. I earned a master's degree in Education at University of Phoenix in 2006. I also took several graduate-level mathematics courses at Virginia Tech. My bachelor's degree is in mathematics, with a minor in religion, from Virginia Tech. I began my Ed.D. in Higher Ed Leadership at WVU in January.
