Absolute Path Simply refers to exact location of computer file which involves the following "route": "SYNTAX\folder1\folder2\folder3" and is the keystone of file management.
Absolute Positioning Method of placing element at specific page point or within a parent element.
Box Model Refers to a CSS style defining space around an element.
Cell Spacing Simply the amount of space between cells in a Web Table.
Destination Refers to the document that opens upon clicking a link on a webpage or other document.
Fixed-Width Font Simply a character whose size takes up the same amount of space on a website.
Hanging Indent Refered to as a "negative" tab where a first line of text hangs to left of text box.
HTML Hypertext Markup Language which is a programming language in which one can create web pages.
Hyperlink a webpage that can be accessed through another webpage by clicking a mouse or other device.
Inline Styles Refers to a style being applied to a specific element through a tag.
Interlacing Refers to a Graphic Interface File which image is loaded onto webpage in stages.
Linear Structure Refers to a website in which documents are placed in a sequential order and have links to previous documents either after or before it.
Local Area Network Known as LAN for short, it is simply a group of computers in a small space which usually occupies a building.
Media Group Refers to grouping of output media based on rendering by the programmer.
Monospace Font Similar to fixed-width font and takes up the same amount of website space another font takes up.
Node In a webpage, it refers to an object, such as an element, comment, or attribute.
Nesting In HTML programming, it is simply grouping elements in another group of elements.
Popup Title Refers to the name that appears on a document when mouse pointer is held over it; i.e. "link".
Portable Network Graphics Refers to a format in which a web image is supportive of animation, interlacing, but is not comptatible with older browsers.
Proportional Font Type of characters that are assigned different amounts of space on a website, dependent upon width.
Relative Positioning Method of moving element based on its default position within the CSS.
Scalable Vector Graphics Refers to image format that is supported by XML.
Spam Simply refers to unwanted email that advertises or solicits services such as a pornographic website or an email that can carry suspicious content such as a virus that can compromise an operating system or computer.
Spanning Cell Simply a cell spanning multiple rows or columns on a website.
Tiling Simply refers to process that fills space with image by horizontal or vertical repitition.
